Face

No face is like the other

Your face is your personal business card and creates a lasting first impression. The aim of modern aesthetic medicine is not to create the “perfect face”, but to harmonise a person’s individual expression.

Eyelid & Brow Reshaping

Hooded eyelids & droopy eyes make you look tired and sad, different than how you actually feel.Corrective surgery of the upper and lower eyelids is an outpatient procedure performed under local anaesthesia and takes about 30-45 minutes. Excess skin is removed and excess or malpositioned fatty tissue is removed or sculpted. On the upper eyelid, the incision is made in the natural upper eyelid crease. On the lower eyelid, it is nearly invisible just below the edge of the eyelashes. The suture is removed after four to five days. Minor bruises and swelling disappear after one to two weeks. The combination with eyebrow reshaping may be recommended to accentuate the eyes.

Minilift & Facelift

The natural aging process changes how we appear. As we age the subcutaneous  fatpads and the bone in the face decrease in the area of the cheeks and jaws, the face loses it´s youthful fullness. At the beginning of this process, a lipolifting  which is a combination of lipofilling and a liposuction can restore the jawline.

In case of skin excess at the jaw line a minilift reshapes the facial contour. The deeper layers of the skin are liftend giving the face a natural look without appearing stretched. The incisions are almost invisible, running from the temple down towards the ear.  The minilift is done under local anaesthesia in an outpatients procedure.

If there is skin excess on the lower neck as well, a full-facelift under general anaesthesia will be the procedure of choice. Facelifting-procedures are often combined with a lipofilling to restore the volumeloss in the face.

Lipofilling

The natural aging process changes how we look. As we age the subcutaneous fat and the bone decreases in the area of the cheeks and jaws, the face loses it´s youthful fullness.

Lipofilling or fat grafting places fat tissue into the deeper layers of the skin and provides structural support to the skin and restores the youthful contours in the face. It has also been shown that fat grafts have a beneficial, rejuvenating effect on the aging or damaged skin.

lipofilling is performed under local anesthesia. Fat is harvested from a suitable donor site and is reinjected in the face.

Double Chin

Excess fat in the area of the chin is not always caused by overweight but often due to a genetical predisposition. If the skin elasticity is good, a liposuction is performed to correct a double chin. In some cases however it is necessary to perfom a minilifting procedure additionally to achieve an excellent aesthetic result.

The correction of a double chin is performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure. A compression garment has to be worn for 5-7 days.

Ear Correction

Prominent ears can be corrected through a relatively uncomplicated procedure under local anaesthesia. The operation is performed as an outpatient procedure. A head bandage remains for one to three days, followed by a headband which must be worn day and night for one week and for three weeks at night only. The resulting scar behind the earlobe is practically invisible. Ear correction surgery is the only surgical cosmetic procedure which can also be performed on children.

Wrinkle Treatment

Mimic Treatments
Glabella folds, forehead lines and crow´s feet are caused by hyperactive mimic muscles. They make us look worried and often cause headache or even migraine. Injectables can relax the muscles and correct the dysbalance.

Volume loss
Deep nasolabial folds, sunken cheeks or marked expression lines make us look sad, tired or frustrated. They are caused by the loss of volume during aging. Therefore the treatment of choice is a filler to smooth the lines. Hyaluronan is a easy and well-tolerated filler which lasts about 6-12 month. An alternative and long lasting natural filler is autologeous fat which can also improve your skin quality.

PRP - Biostimulation

Platelet-rich-Plasma is a concentrate derived from centrifugated whole blood. It has a high concentration of growth factors and has been used to encourage healing of soft tissue in dermatologic and orthopeadic fields. Therefore we use PRP for skin regeneration, wound healing and rejuvenation of the skin in the face, neck and decollete region.

PRP is injected superficially in the skin using microneedles. The treatment should be repeated about 3 times every 4 weeks to achieve the maximum result.

Moles & Basaliomas

Moles
Mole (Nevus) is a hypernym for all pigmented or non pigmented benign skin lesions. Mole removal may be desired for cosmetic reasons or it may be necessary for medical reasons. In most cases, a histological investigation is recommended.

Basaliomas
Basaliomas are semibenign lesions. They grow slowly but continously destroying the surrounding tissue but do not cause metastasis. Therefore it is recommended to remove Basaliomas as soon as possible for histological investigations.

The removement of moles or basaliomas are performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure. The decision if a skin lesion has to be removed for medical reasons should be discussed with a dermatologist in advance.
