Body

Plastic and Recontructive Surgery offers a lot of surgical and non-invasive treatments to improve or correct the shape and function of the body.

To provide best quality treatments to my patients I have specialized in specific subjects of plastic surgery during the last 20 years of my professional activity. My website will give you an overview of all treatments I can offer.

Liposuction

Due to genetical predispositions fat deposits in the body can reach unshaply proportions where diet and sports have a limited effect. In some cases such fat deposits can also be painful, a so called Lipoedema.

Liposuction can be carried out anywhere in the body, mostly in the area of the buttocks, tighs, upper arms and abdomen. It is also a propper method to reduce a double chin. In most cases the liposuction is performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure.

Labia correction

Large or asymmetrical inner labia can affect a woman in her daily life and are often a source of psychological discomfort. Corrective surgery, therefore, offers not only “aesthetic improvement” of the female genitalia, but should also be seen as a way of helping affected women. An extensive initial consultation is required before the procedure.

Surgery to reshape the inner labia is performed with the greatest of care while paying special attention to the individual anatomic and functional considerations. The operation is performed as an outpatient procedure under local anaesthesia following application of an anaesthetic ointment. You can return to work after two days. All normal physical activities can be resumed after three to four weeks.

Hyperhidrosis

Excessive axillary perspiration can become a major source of frustration for those suffering from this condition. A very effective treatment is the sweatgland injection therapy with botulinum. The sweat production stops for about six to twelve month on average and can be repeated as often as desired.

Scar Correction

Scars can develop differently depending on genetical dispositions, the cause of the trauma and surgical suture techniques. Usually a scar gets more red or pink during the first months and fades after 6-12 month so that it becomes almost invisible.

Hypertrophic scars can be painful and functional disruptive and cause a restriction of movement. If conservative treatments such as cortison injections do not help, a surgical scar correction can reach a better result.

A surgical scar correction is usually done under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure.

Moles & Basaliomas

Moles
Mole (Nevus) is a hypernym for all pigmented or non pigmented benign skin lesions. Mole removal may be desired for cosmetic reasons or it may be necessary for medical reasons. In most cases, a histological investigation is recommended.

Basaliomas
Basaliomas are semibenign lesions. They grow slowly but continously destroying the surrounding tissue but do not cause metastasis. Therefore it is recommended to remove Basaliomas as soon as possible for histological investigations.

The removement of moles or basaliomas are performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure. The decision if a skin lesion has to be removed for medical reasons should be discussed with a dermatologist in advance.

Lipomas & Atheromas

Lipomas are benigne tumors based on fat tissue which grow slowly but continously and should be removed surgically for histological investigations.

Atheromas
Atheromas are sebaceous cysts which can grow and often cause chronic infections.

The removement of lipomas and atheromas are performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient procedure.
